Artists have been known to struggle and writers, especially, can lead a lonely existence due to the very nature of our work. Somehow I got lucky and have the bestest friends in the whole world. My friend Carol Brown surprised me at my recent reading in Richmond by bringing this gorgeous confectionary version of my book, Imposters! It was vegan chocolate raspberry inside…and delicious. Amazing.
