Just did my first guest-blog on Girl With Pen—a review of Kirsten Holmstedt’s book, The Girls Come Marching Home. I still hate this stupid war and don’t think we should be in it, but I had no idea that women-in-combat was considered an “experiment” and still controversial for some. Anyway, felt like I learned a lot from this book and loved writing about it for a feminist website. It felt like the intersection of things that don’t usually come together, which is always exciting.
