Busboys & Poets is a venue that knows how to treat authors. Had a lovely, lively audience at the DC reading of Hos, Hookers with David Sterry. Being on-stage is still scary for me, and it’s so nice to look out and see familiar faces and hear familiar laughs when reading in my old hometown. There were over 60 people there! To get anyone out for a literary event on a Tuesday night is a miracle in itself; to have close friends there supporting what I do is a gift that every artist desires.
